Takin' a tuk-tuk to find some real food!

Cristina is a graduate of the French Culinary Institute with over 10 years of professional experience in restaurants, catering, the gourmet food industry and yachting. She’s picked herbs and peeled asparagus in a Paris dungeon and seared foie gras while dodging flying pots and pans in California’s Napa Valley. She owned a small catering business in New York City and has slung hash for New York’s rich-and-infamous and worked as a freelance recipe developer and tester. In 2005, Topham was bitten by the travel bug. She traded her kitchen clogs for flip-flops, packed her knives and hit the high seas, seeking out new inspiration and fun places to cook. She received a SOLAS Award in 2008 for her travel writing and her stories can be found on www.travelerstales.com, www.nauticalluxuries.com and www.megayachtnews.com. She has also received write-ups and media attention in Specialty Foods Magazine, Japanese Vogue, The Crew Report, Ashland Daily Tidings and The Medford Mail Tribune. Cristina is a regular contributor to The Crew Report and YotCru.com. Currently, she lives in Ashland, Oregon and works as a freelance writer and chef.
